The house is the result of the client’s desire for privacy and limitation of energy demand. The orientation is fundamental, as well as elements of insulation and relationship with the environment; such as thermal insulation of the façade and sun control. Because of that, wooden lattice and blind walls, are more than desing elements. On one hand we have the light and shadow play made by the lattice during different times of the day. It acts as a sunshade, a visual screen, adding privacy to house. On the other hand, it has been determinant the efficiency of the enclosure and the efficiency of the energy generation, made by geothermal energy.
